Ms. Jessica Nelson
Third Degree Black Belt

Ms. Nelson is a 3rd degree black belt that has been instructing at All-Star Taekwon-Do since our grand opening in 2005. Ms. Nelson, currently in her 3^rd year at Montclair State University.

Over the years Ms. Nelson has participated in several seminars with ITF Masters and instructors including ITF President Choi Jung Hwa, Master Robert Wheatley, Master Trevor Nichols, and Mr. Parm Rai. She has also participated in many knife fighting, weapons and self-defense seminars offered by Mr. Nick Malefyt.

A brief history of Ms. Nelson follows:
1993 - Began training in ITF Taekwon-Do at Meadowlands Academy of Martial Arts 
1996 - Placed 3^rd in sparring at Queens Taekwon-do Center annual tournament
1997 - Attained First Dan Certification USTF/ITF 
1997 - Won 1^st place in sparring at Queens Taekwon-Do Center annual tournament 
2002 - Attained Second Dan Certification – USTF/ITF 
2005 - Present - assistant instructor at All-Star TKD
2007 - Attained Third Dan Certification - US-ITF/ITF 

Other Medals Ms Nelson has won over the years include:
2^nd place in sparring at the Garden State Games
3^rd  place in sparring at the Red Tiger Cup and ITF/USTF Goodwill Championship.
